This Week's Shows

Monday – 6pm

History of Music brought to you by HDTV Electronics in Walkerton

Music snobs are interesting folks. Often pretentious and annoying to be around, but at the end of the day they know their music and can make some great recommendations. So I am going to help you fast track, tune in for an hour long class in how to be a music snob… I’ll give you some pointers and teach you the band names you need to be able to drop.

Tuesday – 6pm

2 Hour Tuesday Night Blues Show brought to you by the Bruce Bar and Grill

More and more great Canadian blues music seems to be migrating to the Coast. I’ve got another hour of fabulous Canadian blues as well as some John Lee Hooker tracks lined up for you. If you are like me you revisit your favorite artists from time to time and remind yourself how great they are.

Wednesday - 6pm

My Forgotten Mixed Tapes brought to you by Creative Casuals

If you like Led Zeppelin I have a terrific hour for you. A handful of lesser heard Zep tracks mixed in with some band’s who sound somewhat similar to Zeppelin or inspired them. I’ll introduce you to some new bands and songs that may just rank up there with Stairway to Heaven.

Thursday – 6pm

Vintage Vinyl brought to you by Finlaysons Village Dining and Drink

Janis Joplin joined the 27 club due to a heroin OD and while her passing was unfortunate she did leave us with one last incredible album… Pearl. An album that finally has her voice up front and center. If it’s been a while since you spun Pearl on your turntable, tune in this Thursday at 6 and remember why its one of your favorites.

Indeed a quality record, and Janis Joplin was another talented 27!. Sounds like a great show.
