One of the most defining things about a rock band is the vocalist. The sounds of a person’s vocal chords often shape the image of a band. Tune in at 6 for a salute to the most unique voices in all of music. From a gravel throated blues screamer to the silky smooth power of an ol’ crooner to a guy who made himself famous for impersonating a frog.

Shows this week!

Monday October 20

6:00- 7:00pm History of Music brought to you by HDTV and Electronics in Walkerton

Bad decisions... everyone makes them. But if you are a rock and roll star, it can cost you your career or stall it before it even starts. Choosing to decide not to play Woodstock thinking it would nothing more than a small feild party for some backwoods hicks... exposing yourself in front of a crowd and never playing another show due to legal reasons... or leaving a band just before they become massively successful. An hour of awesome music from folks who made choices.

Tuesday October 21

6:00 - 8:00pm 2 Hour Tuesday Night Blues Show brought to you by the Bruce Bar and Grill

All new sound and a fresh new feel. I've revamped the Blues show... same awesome music you expect with a more down in the dirt blues feel. Tune in for 120 minutes of solid blues music... this week I'll have music from 1932 up until 2008! Nothing to feel blue about.

Wednesday October 22

6:00- 7pm My Forgotten Mixed Tapes brought to you by Creative Casuals

If you like Pink Floyd... you'll love this show. I'll play some rare Floyd tunes that often get overlooked, and I'll play some tunes that recall elements of Pink Floyd as well. Whether you like their psychedelic early days or the cold hard sounds of the wall... I've got some cool music lined up for you.

Thursday October 23

6:00- 7:00pm Vintage Vinyl brought to you by Finlaysons Village Dining and Drink

Here Comes Little Richard... a 1957 masterpiece that broke the doors down and freaked out parents all over the world. Folks had been used to people like Pat Boone singing black musicians hits... but all of a sudden here's the real deal... covered in lipstick, big hair and a voice and piano playing that could knock over a brick wall. Tune in to hear an album of solid early rock and roll start to finish.

coast fm window

one of the coolest parts of working at the coast is getting to hang out in the coast fm's studio and peer out on what is happening downtown kincardine. from this little frame i see a lot of smiling faces go by. there are even some who make a point of waving everytime they go by, which certainly makes my day.

im starting to think it would be fun to do traffic reports based on the lights at queen and lambton... or describe the weather by relying on my 'weather tree' across the street. if its wet, i know its raining. if there is snow on it, i can tell how much has fallen. just a thought.
